Services to / from London Waterloo

Description

The emergency services are dealing with an incident between London Waterloo and Barnes / Wimbledon. So that they can safely carry out their work, all lines have been closed.

Trains running to / from these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 120 minutes or revised as a result.

Major disruption is expected until 22:00.

Customer advice:

Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:

  • Services from London Waterloo towards Wimbledon and Woking on both the main line and suburban line will not call at Clapham Junction, in both directions

  • Some platforms at Clapham Junction will be out of use

  • London Waterloo to Shepperton services will be diverted after Clapham Junction, calling additionally at Twickenham and Strawberry Hill. These services will not call at Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden, Norbiton, Kingston or Hampton Wick

  • Shepperton to London Waterloo services will be diverted after Fulwell, calling additionally at Strawberry Hill and Twickenham. These services will not call at Hampton, Kingston, Norbiton, New Malden, Raynes Park or Wimbledon

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

London Underground:

  • Jubilee line from London Waterloo towards Westminster and change at Westminster for District line to Wimbledon

  • District line from Wimbledon towards Westminster and change at Westminster for Jubilee line to London Waterloo

  • Bakerloo line or Northern line towards Embankment and change at Embankment for District line to Wimbledon

  • District line from Wimbledon towards Embankment and change at Embankment for Bakerloo line or Northern line to London Waterloo

  • London Underground services between London Waterloo and Blackfriars, change at Blackfriars for Thameslink services to Wimbledon in both directions

  • Bakerloo line between London Waterloo and London Paddington or change at Baker Street from the Bakerloo line to the Jubilee line for London Waterloo

  • Jubilee line / Northern line and Victoria line between London Waterloo, Victoria and Vauxhall in both directions


Rail services:

  • Southern services between London Victoria - Clapham Junction – Epsom – Dorking in both directions

  • Southern services between Dorking – Leatherhead – Epsom – Reigate – Redhill - Clapham Junction and London Victoria

  • Southern services between London Victoria / Clapham Junction and Portsmouth Harbour / Southampton Central

  • Great Western Railway services from Dorking Deepdene to Gatwick Airport or towards Guildford for onward connections for London

  • Thameslink services between Wimbledon and London Blackfriars / Central London for the connections with London Underground in both directions

  • Thameslink between Wimbledon and Elephant & Castle in both directions to change for London Underground services towards London Waterloo

  • Great Western Railway services between London Paddington and Basingstoke via Reading

  • CrossCountry services between Bournemouth and Reading (for onward connections London Paddington)

  • London Buses between London Waterloo, Vauxhall Clapham Junction, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Surbiton, Hampton Court, Kingston, Epsom, Tolworth , Chessington South , Shepperton and Teddington

  • First Berkshire & the Thames Valley route Rail Air 2 between Guildford and Woking

  • Falcon Bus route 28 between Woking, Brookwood, Worplesdon and Guildford

  • First Bus route 2 between Portsmouth Harbour, Portsmouth & Southsea, Hilsea and Cosham

  • First Bus route 3 between Portsmouth Harbour, Portsmouth & Southsea, Fratton, Hilsea, Cosham, Portchester and Fareham

  • First Bus route X4 between Southampton Central, Woolston, Sholing, Fareham, Portchester, Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour

  • First Bus route X5 between Southampton Central, Woolston, Sholing, Fareham, Portchester, Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour

  • First Bus route 7 between Fratton, Hilsea and Cosham

  • First Bus route 8 between Portsmouth Harbour, Portsmouth & Southsea, Hilsea and Cosham

  • Bluestar Bus route 3 between Southampton Central, Bitterne, Hedge End, Botley and Eastleigh

  • Bluestar Bus route 14 between Southampton Central, Bitterne and Hedge End

  • Bluestar Bus route 24 between Eastleigh, Southampton Airport Parkway and Hedge End
