Description

A fault with the signalling system between London Waterloo and Vauxhall means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:30.

There is a signalling problem between London Waterloo and Vauxhall, and some lines through this area are currently blocked. Platform 6 at London Waterloo is also out of service.

South Western Railway response teams are in contact with the signaller to investigate the cause of the issue and work to resolve the fault as quickly as possible.

Long distance and mainline services:

Trains to and from London Waterloo and Weymouth / Basingstoke / Portsmouth / Exeter St Davids and Alton may be delayed or subject to last minute alterations as the signaller works around the affected lines.

These services are unable to use Platform 6 at London Waterloo while the fault continues.

Suburban services:

Trains to and from London Waterloo and Woking / Guildford / Chessington South / Hampton Court / Dorking / Shepperton and Strawberry Hill via Kingston may also be delayed or altered at short notice while South Western Railway work to clear the congestion and back log of trains in the area.
