Description

A fault with the signalling system between London Waterloo and Vauxhall means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed, cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 19:00.

Customer advice:

Train services will not be using Platforms 2, 3 and 4 at London Waterloo. Services may depart from alternative platforms, at London Waterloo and Vauxhall so please check the departure boards before boarding.

Engineers are investigating the fault and working to rectify it.

Impact on train services

Reading and Windsor services:

  • London Waterloo to Shepperton services will be diverted after Clapham Junction calling additionally at Twickenham and Strawberry Hill. These services will not call at Vauxhall, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden, Norbiton, Kingston and Hampton Wick

  • Shepperton to London Waterloo services will be diverted after Fulwell calling at Strawberry Hill and Twickenham. These services will not call at Hampton Wick, Kingston, Norbiton ,New Malden ,Raynes Park, Wimbledon and Vauxhall


Suburban services:

  • These services are being delayed due to a signalling fault affecting trains as they depart from and return into London Waterloo


Long Distance and Mainline Services:

  • These services remain fully operational and are not affected by this disruption
