Description

A fault on a train at Watford Junction means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Clapham Junction / London Euston and Watford Junction may be cancelled, delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 18:00.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

Southern customer advice:

Southern services are unable to run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction, via Wembley Central and Harrow & Wealdstone.

This is due to a broken down train affecting the route to and from Watford Junction.

If your train is affected, you will need to use an alternative route, which will take at least 30-45 minutes longer, so please leave extra time.

Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following services:

  • Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and Wembley Stadium / Harrow-on-the-Hill

  • London Northwestern Railway services between London Euston, Harrow & Wealdstone and Watford Junction

  • London Underground services across Central, North and West London via any reasonable route

  • London Buses on any route serving stations between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction

  • London Overground services on:

    • The Mildmay line between Clapham Junction, Shepherds Bush and Willesden Junction

    • The Lioness line between Euston, Willesden Junction, Wembley Central, Harrow & Wealdstone and Watford Junction
