Incident resolved: major disruption between Bedford and Kettering expected until the end of the day

Description

The emergency services have resolved an incident following a trespasser on the line in the Wellingborough area. This means that services have started recovering. In the meantime, trains travelling between Bedford and Kettering may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Major disruption is expected until the end of the day.

• Thameslink between London St Pancras International and Bedford

Rail replacement buses have been sourced to run between Kettering and Corby in both directions to help with the gaps in service.

As it is late in the day the number of connecting trains are limited. If you have already started your journey every effort will be made to get you to your destination by rail. If not, alternative arrangements will be made for you to get to your destination. Please speak to a member of staff if you are concerned about your connecting journey.
