Description
Roadworks near Welwyn North station means that rail replacement buses are having to take a diversionary route and are unable to call at Welwyn North.
Train services running through this station will be running non stop. Welwyn North will not be served.
This is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Replacement buses were due to serve Welwyn North station today, but will now be unable to do so.
To travel towards Welwyn North, please leave the bus at either Welwyn Garden City or Stevenage, and speak to staff there for replacement taxis.
To travel from Welwyn North, please use the Emergency button on the station Help Point, and taxis will be arranged.
It is recommend you leave at least 20 minutes of extra time for alternative transport to be arranged, but this is not an exact estimate, and will depend on the availability from suppliers.
Thameslink have also arranged for your ticket to be accepted at no extra cost on Arriva Buses on Route 301 between Stevenage, Knebworth, Digswell Park, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield. A timetable for this route is available.
