Description
Following a vehicle striking a bridge between Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool South Parkway all lines have now reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 14:30.

Network Rail have inspected the line, finding no issues.
London Northwestern Railway customer advice:
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Merseyrail services between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street in both directions until further notice.
Northern customer advice:
The following services are NOT affected in both directions.
Liverpool Lime Street - Manchester Airport
Chester - Leeds via Warrington Bank Quay
Northern ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruptions ends.
If the train you have a ticket for is cancelled, you can travel on any Northern or TransPennine Express service within 2 hours before or after your cancelled service was due to depart.
Road Transport:
Road replacement transport will be requested should this disruption continue.
Journey times will be extended by up to 60 minutes when using road replacement transport.
