Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident near the railway in the Wimbledon area. To allow them to safely carry out their work, all lines are currently closed. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Major disruption is expected until the end of the day.

South Western Railway customer advice:
Response teams are on their way to site. In order to allow emergency services access to the railway all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area.

Emergency services are dealing with an incident, stopping Thameslink from running trains on the line between Streatham and Sutton, via Wimbledon. All of the St Albans City to Sutton services will route via Mitcham Junction to Sutton, where they will terminate and start back from.
