Description

Lines have reopened following a broken down train between Winchester and Basingstoke. Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 12:00.

Advice for CrossCountry customers:

To assist you with your journey, your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services:

  • The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service

  • South Western Railway services between Bournemouth - Basingstoke

  • Great Western Railway services between Basingstoke - Reading

  • South Western Railway services between London Waterloo - Bournemouth

  • Avanti West Coast services between London Euston - Birmingham New Street/Manchester Piccadilly

  • London Northwestern Railway services between London Euston - Birmingham New Street

  • London Underground services via London Terminals as required

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are our unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.
