Description
A fault on a train between Slough and Windsor & Eton Central means the line is closed. Trains are unable to run between these stations and will be cancelled.
This is expected until approximately 09:00.
Customer advice:
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services at no extra cost:
First Bus route 8, and Reading Buses routes 702 and 703 between Slough and Windsor
South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside. It is a short distance from Windsor & Eton Riverside to Windsor & Eton Central.
Additionally, if your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
Replacement transport has not been requested at this time but the need for it is being monitored.
You might want to consider postponing your journey until service returns to normal.
