Description

More trains than usual requiring maintenance means a reduced service will run between Nottingham and Worksop. As a result, trains running between these stations may be revised.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

What has happened?

There are more trains than usual which require maintenance across East Midlands Railway's network today, which has resulted in cancellations on the Nottingham / Mansfield / Worksop route.

The maintenance team are working hard to fix trains units at depots to re-enter them into service as soon as possible.

How does this affect my train?

Some trains on the Nottingham / Mansfield / Worksop route have been cancelled throughout the day.

If you have an ‘Advance’ ticket which is usually valid on this train only then you may use your original ticket at no extra cost on two Midlands Railway trains before or after your original train time.

East Midlands Railway's priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. They expect their advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by tomorrow morning.
