Greater Anglia between Stratford and Hertford East

Description

Track work is taking place between Stratford and Tottenham Hale, closing all lines.

Until approximately 18:00, all services between Hertford East and Stratford will be diverted to start / terminate at London Liverpool Street, calling additionally at Hackney Downs.

Ticket acceptance:

Lea Bridge customers should use London Buses between Lea Bridge and Stratford / Hackney Downs to help with journeys.

Project information:

Network Rail are building an additional track between Stratford and Angel Road which will reduce congestion for passengers, increase the number of trains per hour and support regeneration across the Upper Lee Valley area.

A new station is also being built at Meridian Water to support the regeneration of a vast industrial area into 10,000 new homes and nearly 7000 new jobs. Network Rail are delivering the new station as part of the £170m Lee Valley Rail Programme.
