Engineering work is taking place each night between 22:00 and 05:00, finishing 05:00 Friday morning, at various locations on the Great Western Railway network, closing various lines.

The following alterations will apply:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - The 22:45 London Paddington to Swansea is diverted via but not call at Bath Spa. journey times will be extended by up to 40 minutes after leaving Swindon. 

Monday to Thursday - The 23:36 Swindon and Cheltenham Spa is retimed to depart Swindon at 23:17. The train will be diverted via but not calling at Bath Spa and Severn Tunnel Junction and will not call at Kemble, Stroud and Stonehouse. A replacement bus will run between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa calling at all stations.
