Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Kings Cross and Stevenage, closing some lines.

Both Grand Central and Hull Trains will run amended timetables. Trains will be diverted to run via Hertford North (not stopping), extending journey times.

Great Northern / Thameslink: 

Before 08:45:

No trains will run to or from London Kings Cross. Customers can use London Underground / London Buses between Finsbury Park and London.

A reduced service will operate between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace.

After 08:45:

Great Northern

Trains between London Kings Cross and Cambridge / Ely / Peterborough are diverted to run via Hertford North and will not call at stations via Welwyn Garden City extending journey times.

A hourly service will run between London Kings Cross and Hertford North calling at all stations.

A replacement bus service will run between Alexandra Palace and Stevenage via Welwyn Garden City. 

Thameslink

Trains between London Kings Cross and Peterborough /  are diverted to run via Hertford North extending journey times

Trains between Three Bridges and Cambridge are diverted to run via Hertford North.

Trains between London Kings Cross and Cambridge will run between Stevenage and Cambridge. Customers should use alternative trains between London Kings Cross and Stevenage.

LNER

LNER will have a reduced service to London Kings Cross of up to 4 trains per hour in each direction, departing London up to 20 minutes earlier than usual and arriving up to 20 minutes later. Other services will start and terminate at Peterborough.
