Description

Engineering work is taking place between Orpington and Sevenoaks / Tonbridge, closing various lines over the course of the weekend.

Buses replace trains between:

  • Sevenoaks and Tonbridge (Saturday).
  • Orpington and Tonbridge (Sunday).

Train services between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate (via Paddock Wood) will run via Maidstone East to Ashford International. From Ashford International, part of the train will run to / from Dover Priory. Additional train services will run between Ashford International and Tonbridge.

Customers travelling to / from London can change at Ashford for Pluckley and Headcorn. Customers to / from Ashford can change at Chislehurst for Orpington, though customers should check their journey details before travel. Please note that High Speed fares will apply to journeys between London St Pancras International and Ashford International.

Services between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be diverted to run on an alternative route between London Bridge and Tonbridge, and will additionally call at East Croydon.

On Saturday, additional train services will run between Sevenoaks / Orpington and London Charing Cross.

On Sunday, trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks (on the Grove Park line) will be amended to run between London Charing Cross and Orpington only.
