Engineering work is taking place near London Euston on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August, closing some lines.

Avanti West Coast:

As a result, services will be amended to arrive / depart earlier or later that usual to / from London Euston.

London Northwestern Railway


Until 20:00, trains between London Euston and Tring / Milton Keynes Central / Northampton will run at a reduced timetable, and will not call at Wembley Central.

Most trains between London Euston and Birmingham New Street will run between Northampton and Birmingham New Street only. Between 09:30 and 19:00, some trains between Northampton and Birmingham New Street will be retimed to run earlier​​​​​​​ than usual between Northampton and Rugby.

Trains between London Euston and Crewe will depart slightly earlier from / arrive slightly later at London Euston, and will run between London Euston and Rugby only.

Buses will run between Rugby and Stafford.


Trains between London Euston / Northampton and Crewe will not run. Buses will be in place between Rugby and Stafford.

Some trains from London Euston to Birmingham New Street will depart London Euston earlier.

The following services will not run:

  • 08:15 Northampton to London Euston
  • 09:55 London Euston to Northampton
