Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Wolverhampton area, resulting in the closure of some lines.

Avanti West Coast:

Sandwell & Dudley station will only be served by trains running from Birmingham New Street towards Wolverhampton. Trains in the opposite direction will not call at Sandwell & Dudley.

Services running from Wolverhampton towards Birmingham New Street will be diverted, and journey times will be extended.

CrossCountry:

Trains from Manchester towards Birmingham will not call at Wolverhampton, journey times will be extended by a few minutes.

Replacement buses will run between Stafford and Wolverhampton.

London Northwestern Railway:

Trains between Crewe and Birmingham New Street (via Stoke-on-Trent) will run between Crewe and Stafford only.

Trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Birmingham New Street will be diverted and will not call at Smethwick Galton Bridge, trains will arrive at Birmingham New Street later than normal.

Trains between Birmingham New Street and Rugeley Trent Valley will operate to an amended timetable between Birmingham New Street and Walsall.

Transport for Wales:

Buses replace trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham International.

West Midlands Railway:

Most trains between Shrewsbury and Birmingham New Street will run between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton only, or will be diverted and will not call at Sandwell & Dudley or Smethwick Galton Bridge.

Trains between Wolverhampton and Walsall will run between Birmingham New Street and Walsall only (local stopping trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street will not run).

A replacement bus service will operate between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street (calling at all intermediate stations).

Trains between Birmingham New Street and Rugeley Trent Valley will operate to an amended timetable between Birmingham New Street and Walsall.
