Description

Greater Anglia are making some changes to their timetable to reflect the current situation with the Coronavirus pandemic.

A number of weekday services are being taken out of the timetable. This is due to falling passenger numbers as people follow advice to work from home. Greater Anglia also have to plan for staff shortages as a result of the virus, to ensure they can continue to provide a reliable service.

If you have booked a ticket for one of the cancelled services you can catch either the train before or after the service that has been cancelled. Alternatively, if it is no longer convenient for you to travel, you can request a refund from wherever you originally purchased your ticket from.

A summary of the weekday service that will operate can be found here.

Check before you travel:
If you are travelling with Greater Anglia on weekdays up to and including Friday 28 January, you can check your journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner

If you are travelling on weekdays from Monday 31 January onwards, please check back closer to your intended time of travel.

There are no alterations expected to the timetable on weekends. However, journeys may be affected by engineering work.
