Buses replace trains between Birmingham New Street and Nuneaton / Tamworth from Saturday 14 until Sunday 15 May

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Water Orton, closing various lines.

As a result of this, buses will replace trains on the following routes:

  • On Saturday between Birmingham New Street and Coleshill Parkway
  • On Sunday between Birmingham New Street and Nuneaton / Tamworth

 

Trains between Birmingham New Street and Leicester / Stansted Airport will be amended to start / terminate at Coleshill Parkway (Saturday) and Nuneaton (Sunday). Trains that usually run between Cardiff Central and Nottingham will run between Cardiff Central and Birmingham New Street and also between Coleshill Parkway and Nottingham.

Trains to / from North East England / Scotland will be amended to not call at Tamworth. This will extend journey times by up to one hour.
