At London Waterloo station:

Two of the four escalators at Exit 2 are being replaced.

Work will take several months to complete and during peak times you may be asked to use an alternative route. Thank you for bearing with us as we bring you more reliable escalators. The lift at Exit 2 will remain in operation during these works.

The escalator outside Marks & Spencer’s is out of use due to it having it’s gearbox replaced and is due to return to service by the end of September.

Access to the balcony can be made via the lift or the one of the alternative escalators or staircases on either side of the station.
