Due to the installation of a new gate system, the foot crossing outside the station will be closed from Monday 11 May until Friday 22 May 2026. The station footbridge will be open as normal. Step-free access between platforms will be a 0.7 mile route via the main A351 road over the railway.
The ticket office at Wareham will be closing at 1324 from Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 May and will be closed on Saturday 16 May 2026.
