Overview

Airport Advance tickets offer you the same savings as an Advance ticket, but with the additional flexibility of being able to travel up to 2 hours later than your booked train.

These tickets will be available for travel dates starting from Sunday 13th December 2026.

Details

Airport Advance tickets are available on selected journeys starting at either Luton Airport or Gatwick Airport.

These tickets offer savings compared with buying a ticket on the day of travel, while providing extra flexibility if your journey is delayed.

They are one-way tickets, valid for a specific train.

However, if you're travelling from Luton Airport or Gatwick Airport, you can take a train up to 2 hours later than the time shown on your ticket, on trains run by the same operator of your original booked service.

Airport Advance tickets must be bought at least one day before travel and are subject to availability.
