Monday 25 May - Late May Bank Holiday
Intercity services between Nottingham and London are expected to be extremely busy
East Midlands Railway services are expected to be extremely busy this Bank Holiday Monday, 25 May. Notts County Football Club have reached the League Two Play-Off Final and fans are expected to be travelling to Wembley Stadium in London to show their support.
As well as expecting Intercity services between Nottingham and London St Pancras to be busier, Regional services connecting customers at Nottingham station are likely to be busier too.
Most fans are expected to travel between 09:00 and 11:00 towards London, returning to Nottingham between 18:00 and 21:00. It’s likely these services will be the busiest of the day, and may see some overcrowding.
To ensure everyone’s safety and maximise comfort, queueing systems will be in place at both Nottingham (during the morning) and London St Pancras International (for the return travel period).
It is recommended you allow extra time at stations for your journey. You may be asked to wait for the next service if our train is already busy. Customers with Advance tickets and / or a 'counted place' reservation will be offered prioritisation for their booked services.
