Early closedown on Intercity and Connect routes
Due to the Christmas Eve early shutdown, there will be a reduced timetable in the evening. The last trains on Intercity and Connect routes are as follows:
18:50 Nottingham to London St Pancras International arriving at 20:37. This will call additionally at Beeston, East Midlands Parkway and Loughborough
19:00 Sheffield to London St Pancras International arriving at 21:08
19:40 Corby to London St Pancras International arriving at 20:51
18:32 London St Pancras International to Sheffield arriving at 20:47
19:15 London St Pancras International to Corby arriving at 20:25

18:39 Worksop to Nottingham will be the last train from Worksop to Nottingham, terminating at 19:52

Cleethorpes - Barton-on-Humber:
17:11 Cleethorpes to Barton-on-Humber will be the last train, terminating at 18:04
18:09 Barton-on-Humber to Cleethorpes will be the last train, terminating at 19:01
Buses will replace trains between Doncaster and Lincoln
Due to major engineering work at Doncaster, buses will replace trains all day between Doncaster and Lincoln.
The 06:33 Peterborough to Doncaster train will terminate at Lincoln at 07:44, it will no longer call at Saxilby, Gainsborough Lea Road or Doncaster. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Lincoln and Doncaster, calling at Saxilby and Gainsborough Lea Road.
Friday 25 December - Christmas Day
No service
No trains will operate on Christmas Day.
Saturday 26 December
No service
No East Midlands Railway trains will operate on Saturday 26 December.
Sunday 27 December
Normal service
No changes to East Midlands Railway services have been announced.
Monday 28 December - Boxing Day (substitute day)

Due to late night engineering work, the 22:51 Leicester to Nottingham service will start from Leicester at 22:59, will depart Loughborough earlier than usual at 23:10, and then run up to 5 minutes earlier through to Nottingham.
The train will not call at Syston, Sileby or Barrow-on-Soar. A replacement bus will run from Leicester to Loughborough, serving these stations.

Monday 4 January
Late night service changes between London St Pancras International and Nottingham / Derby / Sheffield
Due to late night engineering work between Luton and Bedford, and also between Leicester and East Midlands Parkway, the following service changes will be made:
21:35 London St Pancras International to Nottingham train will depart East Midlands Parkway later than scheduled at 23:15. It will then continue to run up to 15 minutes later through to Nottingham
22:32 London St Pancras International to Sheffield train will depart Leicester later than scheduled at 23:41. It will then continue to run up to 22 minutes later through to Sheffield
22:35 London St Pancras International to Nottingham train will depart Leicester later than scheduled at 23:55. It will then continue to run up to 15 minutes later through to Nottingham
23:04 London St Pancras International to Derby train will depart Wellingborough later than scheduled at 00:24, and will depart Kettering earlier than scheduled at 00:32. It will return to the scheduled departure time from Leicester, will depart Loughborough later than scheduled at 01:52, and will then continue to run up to 10 minutes later through to Derby
Late night service changes between Nottingham and Worksop
Due to late night engineering work between Mansfield Woodhouse and Worksop the following service changes will be made:
21:25 Nottingham to Worksop train will terminate at Mansfield Woodhouse. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Mansfield Woodhouse and Worksop
22:39 Worksop to Nottingham train will start from Mansfield Woodhouse at 23:10. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Worksop and Mansfield Woodhouse
