Major change to Grand Central North East route service
Due to engineering work closing the line between Northallerton and York, no Grand Central services will run to or from Sunderland. Only the following amended North East route trains will run:
11:00 London Kings Cross to Sunderland, which will terminate at York and call additionally at Doncaster
15:32 Sunderland to London Kings Cross, which will start from York and call additionally at Doncaster
Changes to Grand Central West Riding route service
Due to engineering work, the following changes will be made to Grand Central West Riding route trains:
11:17 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange will not run
15:41 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross will not run
Sunday 24 May
Major change to Grand Central North East route service
Due to engineering work closing the line between Northallerton and York, no Grand Central services will run to or from Sunderland. Only the following amended North East route trains will run:
12:00 London Kings Cross to Sunderland, which will terminate at York and call additionally at Doncaster
14:30 Sunderland to London Kings Cross, which will start from York and call additionally at Doncaster
Changes to Grand Central West Riding route service
Due to engineering work between Brighouse and Wakefield Kirkgate, the following changes will be made to Grand Central West Riding route trains:
12:00 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange will not run
15:43 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross will not run
West Riding services that do run will be diverted, and will not call at Low Moor, Brighouse or Mirfield. Rail replacement buses will operate between Brighouse and Mirfield connecting in to trains at Wakefield Kirkgate. These buses will be extended to Halifax where trains do not call at Halifax.
