Thursday 24 December - Christmas Eve
Train services will finish earlier than normal
After 19:00, London Northwestern Railway services will run to an amended timetable at a reduced frequency and will close down earlier than normal. Please check that you can complete your entire journey before you travel.
Significant changes to services at Birmingham New Street
Due to major engineering work to upgrade the overhead power lines, there will be no trains all day at Birmingham New Street. The following changes will be made to London Northwestern Railway services:
London Euston / Northampton - Birmingham New Street: Trains will run between London Euston / Northampton and Birmingham International only. Rail replacement buses will operate between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street.
Birmingham New Street - Crewe / Liverpool Lime Street: Trains will run between Wolverhampton and Crewe / Liverpool Lime Street only - to an amended timetable at reduced frequency. At Wolverhampton, you can connect to train services to Sandwell and Dudley where rail replacement buses will be available to Smethwick Galton Bridge. From Smethwick Galton Bridge, continue your journey on trains to Birmingham Snow Hill, with up to five trains per hour operating.
Friday 25 December - Christmas Day
No service
No trains will operate on Christmas Day.
Saturday 26 December
No service
No London Northwestern Railway trains will operate on Saturday 26 December.
Sunday 27 December
Significant changes to services at Birmingham New Street
Due to major engineering work to upgrade the overhead power lines, there will be no trains all day at Birmingham New Street. The following changes will be made to London Northwestern Railway services:
London Euston - Birmingham New Street: Trains will run between London Euston and Birmingham International only. Rail replacement buses will operate between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street.

Changes to services between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton
Due to engineering work, the following service changes will be made:
Birmingham New Street - Crewe: trains between Birmingham New Street and Crewe will run between Wolverhampton and Crewe only.
Birmingham New Street - Liverpool Lime Street: trains between Birmingham New Street and Liverpool Lime Street will depart slightly earlier from Birmingham New Street. These services will divert and not call at Smethwick Galton Bridge. To help you complete your journey, rail replacement buses will run between Birmingham New Street and Sandwell & Dudley, calling at Smethwick Galton Bridge.

Until 08:45: changes to services at Northampton
Due to early morning engineering work, until approximately 08:45, train services between London Euston and Northampton will run between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central only.
Additionally, the 07:24 London Euston to Birmingham New Street service will run as two separate services, from London Euston to Milton Keynes Central, and then from Northampton to Birmingham New Street.
Rail replacement transport will run between Milton Keynes Central and Northampton to help you complete your journey.
Monday 4 January
Late night service changes at Bushey
Due to late night engineering work, the following service changes will affect journeys at Bushey:
The 22:09 and 23:42 London Euston to Northampton services will call at Bushey for customers to depart the train only.
The 00:09 and 00:39 (Tuesday) London Euston to Northampton services will call at Bushey for customers to depart the train only
The 22:39 London Euston to Northampton service will not call at Bushey
