Buses replace very early morning trains at Arlesey
Due to overnight engineering work, very early morning trains on Tuesday morning cannot call at Arlesey.
Between 23:30 (Monday) and 04:40, trains from Horsham / London Kings Cross to Peterborough will not call at Arlesey
Between 00:40 and 03:00, trains from Peterborough to London Kings Cross / Horsham will not call at Arlesey
Rail replacement buses will run to provide connections between Biggleswade and Hitchin, calling at Arlesey
Buses replace very early morning trains between Gravesend and Gillingham
Due to overnight engineering work, from 02:00 until 04:30 on Tuesday morning buses will replace Thameslink trains between Gravesend and Gillingham.
Wednesday 24 December
Amended and reduced service, plus trains will finish earlier than normal
An amended and reduced service will run on all Thameslink (and Great Northern) routes until the early evening when services will start to shut down.
Thameslink services will finish earlier than normal on Christmas Eve. Trains on all routes will finish by around 21:00, but on some routes this may be much earlier.
Thursday 25 December - Christmas Day
No service
There will be no Thameslink services on Christmas Day.
Friday 26 December - Boxing Day
No service
There will be no Thameslink services on Boxing Day.
Saturday 27 December
Buses replace trains between Royston, Cambridge and Cambridge North
Due to engineering work closing lines in the Cambridge area, rail replacement buses will run between Royston, Cambridge and Cambridge North.
A revised train service will operate between Brighton / London Kings Cross and Royston and also between Cambridge North and Kings Lynn.
Changes to services between London Blackfriars and Sevenoaks, and between London Blackfriars and Sutton
Due to engineering work between London Blackfriars and Herne Hill, the following service changes will be made:
London Blackfriars - Sevenoaks: No Thameslink trains will run between London Blackfriars and Bellingham. Rail replacement buses will run between London Bridge and Bellingham via Denmark Hill. A revised Thameslink train service will run between Bellingham and Sevenoaks via Bat & Ball
London Blackfriars - Sutton: No Thameslink trains will run between London Blackfriars and Sutton via Mitcham Junction or Wimbledon. Paper rail tickets will be accepted on TfL Buses, London Underground and London Trams to complete your journey
Late night service changes to and from Brighton
After approximately 23:59 on Saturday night, due to overnight engineering work, no Thameslink trains will run between Haywards Heath and Brighton.
Rail replacement buses will run between Haywards Heath and Brighton, and your tickets will also be accepted on Southern trains between Haywards Heath and Brighton.
Sunday 28 December
Buses replace trains between Royston, Cambridge and Cambridge North
Due to engineering work closing lines in the Cambridge area, rail replacement buses will run between Royston, Cambridge and Cambridge North.
A revised train service will operate between Brighton / London Kings Cross and Royston and also between Cambridge North and Kings Lynn.

Early morning service changes between Finsbury Park and Welwyn Garden City / Hertford North
Before 08:30, due to early morning engineering work, buses will replace trains between Finsbury Park and New Barnet / Welwyn Garden City / Gordon Hill / Hertford North, calling at all stations except Harringay and Hornsey. For Harringay / Hornsey, you can use your paper rail tickets at no extra cost on London Buses to complete your journey.
If you're travelling between Finsbury Park and London Kings Cross, paper rail tickets will be accepted on London Underground at no extra cost for journeys between Finsbury Park and London Kings Cross.
Early morning service changes to and from Brighton
Until approximately 08:10 on Sunday morning, due to overnight engineering work, no Thameslink trains will run between Haywards Heath and Brighton.
Rail replacement buses will run between Haywards Heath and Brighton, and your tickets will also be accepted on Southern trains between Haywards Heath and Brighton.
Late night service changes to and from Brighton
After approximately 22:35 on Sunday evening, due to overnight engineering work, no Thameslink trains will run between Haywards Heath and Brighton.
Rail replacement buses will run between Haywards Heath and Brighton, and your tickets will also be accepted on Southern trains between Haywards Heath and Brighton.
Late night service changes between London and Stevenage via Welwyn Garden City
After approximately 23:30 on Sunday evening until the end of service, due to engineering work, buses will replace trains between Finsbury Park and Welwyn Garden City / Stevenage.
Trains between London and Cambridge / Peterborough will divert (non-stop via the Hertford North line), with extended journey times.
Late night service changes at Earlswood (Surrey) and Salfords
From approximately 23:00 on Sunday evening until the end of service, due to engineering work, no trains will call at Earlswood (Surrey) or Salfords.
Rail replacement buses will run between Horley and Redhill to provide train connections at these stations.
