Saturday 2 May

Amended 22:40 Shrewsbury to Birmingham New Street service

Due to late night engineering work, the 22:40 Shrewsbury to Birmingham New Street service will terminate at Wolverhampton. If you are travelling to Smethwick Galton Bridge or Birmingham New Street, you are advised to travel on the 22:59 Shrewsbury to Birmingham New Street service.

Sunday 3 May

Until 12:35: Changes to services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street

Due to engineering work on Sunday morning, until 12:35 there will be the following changes to West Midlands Railway services:

  • Shrewsbury - Birmingham New Street: Trains will run between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton only

  • Wolverhampton - Walsall / Rugeley Trent Valley: Trains will either run between Birmingham New Street and Walsall / Rugeley Trent Valley only, or will be diverted and will not call at intermediate stations between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street

  • Wolverhampton - Birmingham New Street: Local 'stopping' train services will not run

Rail replacement buses will operate between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street calling at all intermediate stations.
