Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Kings Cross and Stevenage, closing some lines.

Great Northern / Thameslink:

All day on Saturday and Sunday, no trains will run between Alexandra Palace and Stevenage via Welwyn Garden City.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

  • St Albans City and Stevenage via Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City / Welwyn North and Knebworth

  • Hertford North and Stevenage via Watton at Stone

  • Alexandra Palace and Welwyn Garden City via Cockfosters (London Underground), calling at all stations except Hadley Wood

  • Cockfosters (London Undergound) and Potters Bar, via Hadley Wood

A revised train service will run between:

  • London Kings Cross and Cambridge / Kings Lynn / Peterborough, diverting non-stop via Hertford North with extended journey times

  • Stevenage and Cambridge

  • Moorgate and Alexandra Palace / Finsbury Park / Hertford North

Ticket acceptance:

Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on London Underground Piccadilly line between Kings Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters.

Grand Central:

All Grand Central services will run via a diversionary route between London Kings Cross and Stevenage.

Hull Trains:

All Hull Trains services will run via a diversionary route between London Kings Cross and Stevenage, extending journey times.

On Sunday, the 19:09 Hull to London Kings Cross service will not run.

LNER:

LNER will run a reduced service to / from London Kings Cross via a diversionary route between London Kings Cross and Stevenage.

Services departing London Kings Cross may depart up to 20 minutes earlier than normal.

There will be no direct LNER services between London Kings Cross and Lincoln. Passengers are advised to change at Peterborough.

On Sunday morning, all services will start later than normal with the first service departing London Kings Cross after 09:15 and the first southbound service departing from Peterborough after 09:45.

Lumo:

All Lumo services will run via a diversionary route between London Kings Cross and Stevenage, leading to services between retimed and extended.
