Grand Central:
Saturday:
The 17:31 Sunderland to London Kings Cross train will not run.
Sunday:
No Grand Central train services will run.
Monday:
The 08:26 London Kings Cross to Sunderland service will not run.
Great Northern / Thameslink:
From 22:00 on Saturday until the end of Sunday service, buses will replace trains between Potters Bar and Royston / Peterborough, and between Hertford North and Stevenage. Trains across the Great Northern / Thameslink network will run to an amended timetable.
Replacement buses (provided by Great Northern) will run between:
Potters Bar and Hitchin
St Albans City and Hitchin via Hatfield
Luton Airport Parkway and Stevenage via Hitchin
Hertford North and Stevenage
Hitchin and Royston / Peterborough
Bedford and Peterborough via St Neots
Monday morning trains between London Kings Cross and Stevenage / Peterborough / Royston before 08:00 are also affected by this work,
Ticket acceptance:
After 21:00 on Saturday and all day on Sunday, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the below services:
London Underground between Kings Cross St Pancras and Tottenham Hale (Victoria line) and between Kings Cross St Pancras and Liverpool Street (Circle / Metropolitan / Hammersmith / City lines)
Elizabeth line between Farringdon and London Liverpool Street
Greater Anglia between London Liverpool Street and Cambridge / Cambridge North
Hull Trains:
On Sunday, a reduced train service will run to / from London St Pancras International.
Trains will be diverted and will not call at Beverley / Cottingham / Doncaster / Retford / Grantham or Stevenage.
On Monday, the 07:27 London Kings Cross to Hull service will depart later than usual at 07:48, and will run later throughout.
LNER:
From 22:00 on Saturday and all day Sunday there will be no LNER trains to or from London Kings Cross.
Some LNER services will start / terminate at Peterborough.
Rail replacement coaches will operate between Peterborough and Bedford where you can connect with trains to / from London St Pancras International.
Other LNER services will start / terminate at Doncaster and some will be cancelled.
There will be no LNER service arriving / departing London Kings Cross before 08:00 on Monday.

The 17:56 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross train will not be running.

The 13:56 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Peterborough connecting with direct rail replacement coaches to London Kings Cross.
The 15:50 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Newcastle.
The 16:24 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Peterborough connecting with direct rail replacement coaches from London Kings Cross.
The 19:24 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Newcastle.
Monday:
The 05:48 service from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh will start from Newcastle.
The 06:23 service from Edinburgh to London Kings Cross will terminate at Newcastle.
Background information:
The East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP) is a landmark scheme that will introduce in-cab digital signalling on the southern part of the East Coast Main Line, between London Kings Cross and Grantham. The East Coast Main Line is the UK’s first intercity mainline to be upgraded to digital signalling, and the work taking place this weekend will contribute to delivering more reliability, more punctual services and greener journeys.
