South Western Railway between Yeovil Junction and Salisbury
Description
Engineering work is taking place in the Westbury area, closing all lines.
Great Western Railway:
Buses will replace trains between:
Pewsey and Swindon (to connect with diverted long distance services)
Westbury and Frome
Castle Cary and Taunton
Long distance services between London and South West England will be diverted to run via Swindon / Bristol Parkway instead of running via Westbury. These diverted trains will call at Reading to pick up when running from London, and to drop off when running towards London.
An amended and reduced train service will run between Frome and Castle Cary.
Additionally:
The 08:06 Reading to Newbury will not run, and will be replaced by a bus. This bus will not call at Newbury Racecourse, and will connect with the amended 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn service (see below)
The 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn service will start from Newbury at 09:02
South Western Railway:
The 09:46 Yeovil Junction to Salisbury service will not run, and will be replaced by a bus.
