Description
Engineering work is taking place between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport, closing all lines.
Gatwick Express:
No Gatwick Express services will run. You can use Southern services to complete your journey at no extra cost.
Great Western Railway:
Saturday:
The 23:35 Reading to Gatwick Airport service will terminate at Redhill. You can use alternative rail connections between Redhill and Gatwick Airport.
Sunday:
No Great Western Railway trains will run between Redhill and Gatwick Airport.
You can use Southern replacement buses between Redhill and Gatwick Airport at no extra cost.

Early on Sunday morning:
Please note that these trains run at the end of Saturday's service very early on Sunday morning:
The 00:23 Tonbridge to Redhill train will not run, a replacement bus will run from Tonbridge to Redhill
The 01:10 London Victoria to Brighton train will be diverted to East Grinstead. A replacement bus will run from East Grinstead to Gatwick Airport via Horley
Sunday:
All day on Sunday, no trains will run between East Croydon and Redhill / Gatwick Airport / Tonbridge / Caterham or Tattenham Corner.
A direct, but diverted Southern train service will run, with extended journey times, between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport, calling at Clapham Junction only.
Trains will run between London Victoria and East Grinstead to an amended timetable, connecting with direct buses between East Grinstead and Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges.
Trains will run between Gatwick Airport and Bognor Regis / Portsmouth Harbour.
Trains will run between Three Bridges and Littlehampton and and between Three Bridges and Eastbourne / Hastings / Ore.
Trains between London Victoria and East Grinstead will be amended to run between London Bridge and East Grinstead.
A reduced number of trains will run between London Victoria and East Croydon.
No direct trains will run between London Victoria and Reigate. You can use Great Western Railway trains to travel between Redhill and Reigate.
Replacement buses will run between:
East Grinstead and Gatwick Airport (frequent)
East Grinstead and Three Bridges (frequent)
East Croydon and Redhill (limited)
Redhill and Gatwick Airport (limited)
Redhill and Tonbridge
East Croydon and Tattenham Corner
Car park closures
To ensure the smooth and safe operation of the rail replacement bus service during these works, the following car park closures will be in place from 22:00 on Friday 11 until 23:59 on Sunday 13 July:
Three Bridges (Full closure)
Redhill (Full closure)
East Grinstead (Part closure - the car park at the front of the station will be closed)
No Southern trains will run between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction, please follow the link for more information.
Ticket acceptance:
You can use Thameslink trains to travel between Gatwick Airport and Brighton.
Southern paper tickets will be accepted on the following alternatives:
London Bus route 407 between East Croydon and Caterham
South Western Railway between Portsmouth Harbour and London Waterloo
Southeastern between London Bridge / London Charing Cross and Hastings
Great Western Railway between Reigate and Redhill
Thameslink:
From 00:50 on Sunday morning until the end of Sunday service, no trains will run between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport.
You can change at East Croydon for Southern services to East Grinstead, and rail replacement buses from East Grinstead to Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges.
A revised train service will run between:
Bedford and East Croydon
Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges and Brighton
Gatwick Airport and Horsham
