CrossCountry between Manchester Piccadilly / Birmingham New Street / Reading and Bournemouth, and also between Manchester Piccadilly and Southampton Central

Great Western Railway between Reading and Basingstoke

South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Basingstoke / Salisbury / Portsmouth Harbour / Poole / Weymouth / Yeovil Junction / Exeter St Davids, and between London Waterloo / Woking and Alton

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Basingstoke, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains will not call at Basingstoke, Winchester and Southampton Airport Parkway.

Trains will additionally call at Guildford, extending journey times by approximately 1 hour.

Rail replacement buses will operate between Reading and Winchester, calling at Basingstoke.

Great Western Railway:

Buses will replace trains between Reading and Basingstoke, calling at Reading Green Park, Mortimer and Bramley.

For Reading West, you should use alternative Great Western Railway services between Reading and Newbury.

South Western Railway:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Woking and Basingstoke

  • Woking and Andover

  • Woking and Winchester

  • Woking and Aldershot

Trains that usually run between Woking and Alton will be amended to run between London Waterloo and Alton, diverting to run via Guildford.
