Description
Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Basingstoke, closing all lines.
CrossCountry:
Trains will not call at Basingstoke, Winchester or Southampton Airport Parkway.
Journey times will be extended by up to one hour.
Rail replacement buses will operate between Reading and Basingstoke.
Great Western Railway:
Reading - Basingstoke:
Buses will replace trains between Reading and Basingstoke, calling at all stations except Reading West.
For Reading West, you should instead use alternative Great Western Railway services.
Reading - Guildford:
As a result of the work between Reading and Basingstoke, CrossCountry trains will be diverting to run between Reading and Guildford. In order to accommodate these diversions, the following trains will depart Reading 2 minutes later than normal:
10:48 Reading to Gatwick Airport
12:48 Reading to Gatwick Airport
14:48 Reading to Gatwick Airport
16:48 Reading to Gatwick Airport
18:48 Reading to Gatwick Airport
South Western Railway:
No trains will run between Reading and Basingstoke.
You should use alternative services between Reading and Basingstoke.
