Description

Engineering work is taking place between Winchester and Southampton Central, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Friday to Monday:

Trains will be diverted, extending journey times by up to 60 minutes, and will not call at Winchester or Southampton Airport Parkway.

You can use South Western Railway services for travel to / from Winchester / Southampton Airport Parkway.

Great Western Railway:

Friday and Saturday:

The 21:23 Portsmouth Harbour to Westbury service will divert between Fareham and Southampton Central (via Netley, not calling). It will not call at Eastleigh or Southampton Central. It will run to normal times departing Southampton Central and beyond.

For Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway, you should travel by alternative services.

Sunday:

The 19:34 Bristol Temple Meads to Portsmouth Harbour will divert between Southampton Central and Fareham (via Netley – not calling). It will not call at Southampton Airport Parkway, Eastleigh, Botley or Hedge End. The train will arrive / depart Fareham and beyond earlier than normal.

For Southampton Airport Parkway, Eastleigh, Botley and Hedge End, you should travel by alternative services.

Monday:

The 21:21 Bristol Parkway to Portsmouth & Southsea will divert between Southampton Central and Fareham (via Netley – not calling). It will call at Fareham and beyond approximately 13 minutes earlier than normal.

The 21:23 Portsmouth Harbour to Westbury service will divert between Fareham and Southampton Central (via Netley, not calling). It will not call at Eastleigh or Southampton Central. It will run to normal times departing Southampton Central and beyond.

For Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway, you should travel by alternative services.
