Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads / Westbury and Portsmouth Harbour, and between Bristol Temple Meads / Westbury and Southampton Central

South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Southampton Central, between Romsey and Salisbury / Romsey, between Southampton Central and Bournemouth / Weymouth

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Romsey and Southampton Central, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Saturday and Sunday:

Replacement buses will run between Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.

Trains will continue to run to / from Southampton Central.

Great Western Railway:

Sunday:

Trains that normally run via Southampton Central will be diverted to run via Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh (calling additionally). They will not call at Southampton Central.

For Southampton Central, you should use alternative train services between Eastleigh and Southampton Central.

An amended and slightly reduced timetable will operate for Great Western Railway services between Westbury and Portsmouth Harbour.

South Western Railway:

Saturday:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Southampton Airport Parkway and Poole

  • Brockenhurst and Poole

Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Southampton Airport Parkway and Poole

  • Southampton Central and New Milton

  • Southampton Central and Romsey

  • Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier
