Description

Major engineering work, part of the Wessex area railway upgrade, is taking place at Sherrington Viaduct (between Warminster and Salisbury) and in the Westbury station area, closing all lines.

Great Western Railway:

Buses will run instead of trains between Westbury and Trowbridge, Chippenham, Frome, and Salisbury.

A few trains will be diverted between Trowbridge and Frome, not running via Westbury.

Trains between London / Reading and Exeter / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance will not call at Westbury. These trains will additionally call at Frome. Replacement buses will run between Frome and Westbury.

You should allow additional time when using replacement buses in order to maintain connections with the amended train services.

Please note all parking will be suspended at Frome station during this period for rail replacement services.
