Engineering work is taking place between Westbury and Taunton, closing all lines.
Great Western Railway:
Friday:
From 18:00 on Friday until the end of service, buses will replace trains between:
Westbury and Castle Cary (via Frome / Bruton)
Castle Cary and Taunton
Long distance trains between London and Exeter / Plymouth / Penzance will be retimed by a few minutes, and diverted to run via Bristol Temple Meads (not calling).
Saturday and Sunday:
Buses will replace trains between:
Westbury and Castle Cary (via Frome / Bruton)
Castle Cary and Taunton
Long distance trains between London and Exeter / Plymouth / Penzance will be retimed by a few minutes, and diverted to run via Bristol Temple Meads (additionally calling).
South Western Railway:
From 18:00 on Friday until the end of Sunday:
No trains will run between Westbury and Castle Cary.
Replacement buses will run between Westbury and Castle Cary.
