Description

Following the police dealing with an incident between Axminster and Exmouth / Exeter St Davids, all lines have now reopened. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

South Western Railway customer advice:

Trains are now able to run between Axminster and Exeter stations in both directions.

How do I get to my destination?

You are now able to travel from London Waterloo and Salisbury to Exeter stations, but due to the earlier disruption your journey may take longer than usual, as trains will have to wait at junctions for the single line sections of track.

This will also be the same for customers travelling from Exeter stations towards Salisbury and London Waterloo.
