Description
There is a fault at a level crossing between Wokingham and Bracknell meaning services have to run at a reduced speed on all lines. As a result, services running between Reading and Bracknell / Guildford may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 13:00.

London Underground Circle line between Paddington and Victoria
Southern between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport
If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.

Services between Reading and London Waterloo may terminate / start their journeys at Bracknell. Services are subject to delays, cancellations and last minute alterations.
Please allow extra time on your journey if you are travelling in the affected area.
How do I get to my destination?

London Underground Bakerloo line between Waterloo, Paddington and Elephant & Castle
Great Western Railway services between Reading and Wokingham / London Paddington in both directions
Rail replacement buses have been arranged to run between Reading and Bracknell in both directions. The replacement buses from Reading will be available to start at 10:55. These buses are not operating to a scheduled timetable. We will update you once the bus from Bracknell is ready to start.
If you would prefer to use local buses to continue your journey please check Traveline. South Western Railway tickets are not valid on local buses unless stated above.
Additional information:
There is a problem with the obstacle detector at a level crossing. The obstacle detector is part of the equipment used to confirm that the level crossing is clear before trains are allowed to pass over it.
Engineers are on site and are investigating the issue to bring the crossing back into full working order.
