Description

Following a fault on a train between Peterborough and Ely all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 19:30.

CrossCountry customer advice:

The following road transport, operated by Keyline, has been recruited to run shuttle between Peterborough and Ely:

  • 3 buses at Peterborough eta 17:40, 18:00 and 18:30

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services:

  • The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service

  • Avanti West Coast between Birmingham New Street / Nuneaton and London Euston

  • East Midlands Railway services between Peterborough and Ely and also between Leicester and London St Pancras International

  • Greater Anglia services between Peterborough and London Liverpool Street

  • Great Northern services between Ely and London Kings Cross

  • Thameslink services between Peterborough / Cambridge and London St Pancras International

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are our unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.

You can use your original ticket to travel with the following train operators, in both directions, at no extra cost:

  • Greater Anglia services between Ely and Norwich

  • CrossCountry services between Leicester and Peterborough / Ely

East Midlands Railway have sourced bus replacement services where possible.
