Description

All lines have reopened following animals on the railway between Dorking (Main) and Epsom. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be delayed by up to 60 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 10:30.

Southern customer advice:

Trains can now run between Horsham and Epsom again. You can now travel on your booked route.

Southern are working to return to their scheduled timetable, but please continue to check journey planners and station information boards before you travel. Some trains in the area will still be disrupted, and your journey may take up to 20 minutes longer than usual.

  • London Buses between Dorking and London Terminals

Unfortunately, a service had hit an animal in the Leatherhead area earlier today. This meant that the train was unable to move.

The damaged train has now moved. Southern are working to restore service back to the booked timetable.
