Description
The emergency services dealing with an incident near the railway at Exeter Central means all lines are closed. As a result, trains running between Exeter St Davids and Pinhoe / Exmouth may be cancelled, delayed by up to 90 minutes or revised.
This is expected until 10:00.

Advice for Great Western Railway customers:
Some trains will be revised, only completing parts of their normal journeys, and there will also be some cancellations. To avoid trains being stopped for a long time outside of a station, some longer distance trains may be held in station platforms some distance away from the affected area.

Response teams are on site. At this time it is not known when the lines are expected to reopen.
Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:
Trains running between Exeter St Davids and London Waterloo will now start / finish at Honiton.

South Western Railway are arranging replacement buses and for you to be able to use your ticket at no extra cost with local bus operators between Exeter St Davids and Honiton. We will let you know when this is in place.
