Description
A failure of electricity supply between Cosham and Southampton Central / Eastleigh means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed up to 50 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Southern customer advice:
Delays are expected due to a failure of the electricity supply failure between Cosham and Fareham. This will affect trains in both directions.
Please check before you travel using online journey planners and live departure boards for the latest information. Journeys may take longer than usual as a result and you may need to take an alternative route to complete your journey, so please allow extra time to account for this.
The following changes are expected to services running in both directions:
Services running from Southampton Central to Brighton will run between Havant and Brighton instead
Services running between Brighton and Southampton Central will terminate at either Bognor Regis or Havant. Please check station boards before boarding for confirmation of all stops

There's an issue with the power supply in the Fareham area and it is affecting some train services. Operators are working with Network Rail and electricity suppliers to fix it as soon as possible.

Trains from London Waterloo to Portsmouth stations via Basingstoke may be diverted via Guildford.
Trains between Southampton Central and Portsmouth may be cancelled or run between Southampton Central and Fareham only.
