South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Fareham / Southampton Central / Portsmouth Harbour , and between Southampton Central Portsmouth & Southsea, and between Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour, and also between Woking and Southampton Central

Description

Following a fault on a train at Fareham earlier today, all lines have reopened. Trains may still be delayed up to 15 minutes, cancelled or revised to allow the service to recover.

Disruption is expected until 20:30.

Southern are no longer affected by this incident.

You may use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • First Bus routes:

    • 3 between Portsmouth Harbour, Portsmouth and Southsea, Fratton, Hilsea, Cosham, Portchester and Fareham

    • 28A between Fareham and Swanwick

    • X4 between Southampton Central, Woolston, Sholing, Fareham, Portchester, Portsmouth and Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour

    • 28A between Fareham and Swanwick

Bluestar route:

  • 2 between Southampton Central, Swaythling and Eastleigh

  • 3 between Southampton Central, Bitterne, Hedge End, Botley and Eastleigh

  • 4 between Southampton Central, Bitterne and Hedge End

  • 24 between Eastleigh, Southampton Airport Parkway and Hedge End
