Description
The emergency services have safely completed their work in dealing with an incident between Hilsea and Fratton, allowing all lines to reopen.
Whilst service recovers, trains running between Cosham / Havant and Portsmouth & Southsea / Portsmouth Harbour may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised to terminate at an earlier station on their route.
Disruption is expected until 22:00.
South Western Railway customer advice:
Long distance and mainline services
Services between Portsmouth Harbour and London Waterloo via both Haslemere and Eastleigh are expected to be delayed, revised or cancelled.
South local services
Services between Portsmouth stations and Southampton Central are also expected to be delayed or revised.
