Can you tell me more about the incident?

A landslip has been reported, causing disruption for your journey on this route.

Currently, the information from the site of the landslip suggests that some repair works are needed before they can reopen all lines. Until these are done, staff will need to reduce the number of trains running through the area.

They're working with Network Rail to ensure this is done as quickly and safely as possible.

Landslips can happen for a number of reasons, including severe weather. Areas at risk of landslips are monitored proactively to make sure the track is safe, and staff also receive reports from train crews of any risks to the railway. In this case, staff have checked the report and the landslip cannot be passed safely by trains.
