Description
A fault with the signalling system between Peterborough and Ely means that trains have to run at a reduced speed on the line towards Ely. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 15:45.

Greater Anglia services between Ely and Stansted Airport
The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 60 minutes.
East Midlands Railway have already made arrangements for you to travel with your original ticket with the following train operators:
Cross Country between Leicester, Peterborough and Ely in both directions
Greater Anglia between Peterborough and Ely / Norwich via Ipswich in both directions

Network Rail are on site investigating the problem. However, the issue is causing congestion in the affected area.
