Great Western Railway between Exmouth and Paignton

South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Exeter St Davids

Description

A fault with the signalling system between Pinhoe / Exmouth and Exeter Central means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Disruption is expected until 18:00.

Great Western Railway customer advice:

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on Stagecoach South West bus routes as follows:

  • 57 between Exeter bus station, Newcourt (Seabrook Avenue), Topsham station, Exton (Exton Village) and Lympstone Commando (Marine Camp Entrance)

  • B between Exeter (High Street) and Polsloe Bridge (Tarbet Avenue)

  • C between Exeter (High Street) and Digby & Sowton (Arch)

  • H between Exeter (High Street) and Digby & Sowton (Park & Ride)

  • I / J between Exeter (High Street), Polsloe Bridge (Tarbet Avenue), Digby & Sowton (Rydon Park) and Newcourt (River Plate Road)

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
