Trains between Poole and Bournemouth, and also between Weymouth and London Waterloo

Description

Following a fault at a level crossing between Poole and Bournemouth earlier today, lines have now reopened. As a result, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised to allow the service to recover.

Disruption is expected until 19:00.

Customer advice:

While the issue has been resolved, disruption will continue because of trains and crew being out of place.

We expect train services to run normally between London Waterloo and Bournemouth / Weymouth by 19:00.

  • 18 between Parkstone - Branksome - Bournemouth

  • 20 between Poole - Parkstone - Branksome - Bournemouth

  • 36 between Branksome and Bournemouth


Buses between Weymouth and Poole:

    • 8 and 9 between Hamworthy and Poole

    • 40 between Wareham and Poole

  • First Bus routes:

    • 10 between Weymouth - Upwey - Dorchester

    • X51 between Weymouth and Dorchester

    • X54 between Weymouth - Wool - Wareham
