Description

A signalling problem at Weymouth means all lines are closed. As result, trains running to / from this station may be cancelled, delayed up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

Engineers are on site investigating the fault.

South Western Railway customer advice:

Due to this fault trains are unable to run into or out of Weymouth station at this time.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • Morebus routes:

    • M1 and M2 between Bournemouth - Branksome - Parkstone - Poole

    • 16 and 17 between Bournemouth - Branksome - Parkstone - Poole

    • 18 between Bournemouth - Branksome - Parkstone

    • 20 between Bournemouth - Branksome - Parkstone - Poole

    • 36 between Bournemouth and Branksome

    • 8 and 9 between Poole and Hamworthy

    • 40 between Poole and Wareham

  • First Bus routes:

    • X51 between Weymouth - Dorchester - Axminster

    • 10 between Weymouth - Upwey - Dorchester

    • X54 between Wareham - Wool - Weymouth

A limited rail replacement bus service will operate between Weymouth, Upwey and Dorchester South.
